The Rules

This forum, like most forums, will have contests. They're fun, right?

So here is the list of the contest idea's we currently have (If you have one, PM or email me)

1. Recipe Contest
A recipe contest is when people on this forum submit home-made recipe's and others vote for the one they like the best.
-It has to do with skincare, bath, haircare, makeup etc.
-You have to be a member
-It has to be your own recipe
-There has to be more than 1 entry to make the contest
-You must email us with your recipe
-You must make the subject 'Recipe contest Entry' and it must include your username in the email or in the subject.
The winner gets 500 Temptations Points ($5.00)...

2. Naming Contest
A Naming contest is when we make up a random product (not for our site or anything),and we describe it. You make up a name for the product, and send it to our email. Our members vote on which fits the product the best.
-It has to be appropriate.
-You have to be a member
-It has to be your own made up name (not a name of a product that already exists)
-There has to be more than 1 entry to make the contest
-You must email us with your product name
-You must make the subject 'Naming contest Entry' and it must include your username in the email or in the subject.
The winner gets 400 Temptations Points ($4.00)...

3. Ingredient of the year contest
An Ingredient of the year contest is when you tell us what ingredient should be the ingredient of the year (try to make the 'why' short), and why. Our members will then take a vote to see which one they think should be the ingredient of the year out of the entries. For example: The Ingredient of the year should be: Acai Oil Why: Acai oil helps wrinkles, and softens skin. Its a great and natural ingredient to use in skincare. etc.
-It has to be appropriate.
-You have to be a member
-There has to be more than 1 entry to make the contest
-You must email us with your entry
-You must make the subject 'Ingredient of the year contest Entry' and it must include your username in the email or in the subject.
The winner gets 500 Temptations Points ($5.00)...

4. Problem of the year contest
A Problem of the year contest is when you tell us what health problem is the problem that lots of us face, why you think so, and how we can help ourselves and others. It can be anywhere from Acne, Allergies, to rashes. Our members will then take a vote to see which one they think should be the problem of the year out of the entries.
-It has to be appropriate.
-You have to be a member
-There has to be more than 1 entry to make the contest
-You must email us with your entry
-You must make the subject 'Problem of the year contest Entry' and it must include your username in the email or in the subject.
The winner gets 500 Temptations Points ($5.00)...

5. Best product
A Best Product contest is when you tell us what skincare/bath n' body/makeup/haircare product (from an online, or retail store) you think is the best, and why. Our members will vote for the one they agree with most (if they have tried it) or the one they think sounds most interesting (if theyt havn't tried it). For example: Product: Green Squall body scrub Company: Temptations Bath n' Body Reason: Because it works great with my sensitive skin, and smells amazing! I use it everytime I shower.
-It has to be appropriate.
-You have to be a member
-There has to be more than 1 entry to make the contest
-You must email us with your entry
-It can't be your brand
-You must make the subject 'Problem of the year contest Entry' and it must include your username in the email or in the subject.
The winner gets 400 Temptations Points ($4.00)...

6. Ingredient know-it-all contest
A Ingredient know-it-all contest is when we ask 5 ingredient questions (About beauty product ingredients) and you tell us the answers! The person who gets the answers right wins. If 2 (Or more) people both get all the questions right, they are asked 5 more questions, until there is only 1 person left. If no one gets the answers right, the one wo gets the most answers right wins.
-Answers to be appropriate.
-You have to be a member
-There has to be more than 1 entry to make the contest
-You must email us with your entry
-You must make the subject 'Ingredient know-it-all contest Entry' and it must include your username in the email or in the subject.
The winner gets 500 Temptations Points ($5.00)...

New contest rules : Naming contest

So, when are these going to be up?

We're going to have them going around every month or so, when we get enough Ideas...
we need 8 ideas (all together) to start up, so we can have contests running.
